Charmander – The Stray Pokémon (The Stray Pokémon – Hitokage) / Hagure Pokemon, Hitokage (はぐれポケモン・ヒトカゲ) (Originally aired 10th June 1997)
While on the road to Vermilion City, Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu come across a Charmander sitting on a rock. Ash tries to catch it, but it turns out it has a trainer and can’t be captured, so they head to the Pokémon Center. At the center, a hotshot trainer named Damien is bragging about how he left it, promising to come back for it when he means to abandon it.
Showdown in Pewter City (Battle of Nibi Gym!) / Nibi Jimu no Tatakai! (ニビジムのたたかい！) (Originally aired 29th April 1997)
Ash and Misty finally reach Pewter City and meet Flint, a mysterious man who sells rocks. Ash is ready to challenge the Pewter City Gym Leader, Brock, for his first Badge.

Ash Ketchum is finally 10 years old, old enough to become a Pokémon Trainer. He wakes up late on the day he is supposed to receive his first Pokémon at Professor Oak’s lab, however, and arrives to discover all the Pokémon are gone. Ash has no choice but to take a naughty Pikachu.

Arnold, Gerald, and Helga hear Grandpa’s “Legend of the Haunted Train” and head for the abandoned train station where it’s said to appear – and the train that pulls up to the station at midnight matches the description.
Downtown as Fruits / Eugene’s Bike (Originally aired 7th October 1996)
Arnold and Gerald decide to take the bus a few too many stops past the school and end up downtown without money until someone drives by and throws them a bag of cash.
When Eugene’s bicycle is ruined thanks to Arnold, Arnold realizes that he’s been involved in quite a few of Eugene’s accidents, so he takes him out for a day of fun.
